Text transcript:

Hello my name is Phillip Freeman and I am Sean Noone.

We are here to tell you about the Deaf Forum, if you remember back in September everyone came to a successful meeting where we discussed the issues around access to the Council.

I am pleased to tell you that we are having another meeting on November 26th from 6.30pm to 9.00pm at Ladywood Social Club. The meeting will be attended by the Equality Officer from the Council who is finally coming along to listen to your views.  He will not be making any decisions on the night but is there to listen to what you have to say and then will take this back and discuss issues raised at the Council. He will then return and hopefully update us on the next steps.

Firstly the BDA will talk about the access issues faced in Birmingham and the historical aspects of this.

This is a good opportunity to meet the Council, meet the BDA and for you to say how you feel and discuss this together.  As we know Birmingham needs a lot of improvements and we hope ultimately they will agree to sign the BSL Charter.

If you want anymore information please contact us via a private message on Facebook or email us.

Hope to see you there!
