LOBBY ON THE FACILITIES FOR DEAF PEOPLE IN THE PUBLIC SERVICES

17th March 2014 from 2.30pm to 6.30pm

Westminster Hall, Houses of Parliament

As part of the BDA's Sign Language Week, we will be holding a Deaf Lobby on Monday 17th March. You can come and talk to your MP and tell them your concerns about Access to Work, hospitals and barriers to communication and interpreters, etc. This is your opportunity to meet your MP.

When

Monday, 17th March 2014 at 2.30pm. Please arrive early, about 1.30pm to 2pm because you need to queue to get through security

If you are definitely planning to come please book your place now (see below), as we need to know how many people will be attending. We are aiming for between 250-500 Deaf people.

Write a letter to your MP

If you are definitely coming, please see attached sample letter for you to write to your MP. You need to put your own name, address, your MP name (see red words). We hope this helps.
